The Applied Statistics minor will bring together students from across disciplines under the common umbrella of statistics. The core ideas of hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and regression analysis will be emphasized across the program, ensuring that graduates are well prepared to not only practice statistics within their discipline, but to collaborate with professionals from other disciplines as well. Graduates of this minor can be expected to be fluent with software environments for visualization, computation, and markdown purposes.
