A degree sheet for the Human Health Sciences B.S. is provided with the curriculum below for students’ convenience.
This sample degree checklist is intended to be used as a planning tool for students enrolled in the program for this academic year. It is recommended that students review the Academic Requirements report in their Student Center and meet regularly with an Academic Advisor to verify degree progression.
Program Admission
To establish eligibility for admission into the Speech Pathology Program, students must meet the following criteria:

Admission into Nevada State University;

Completion of 30-45 credits that apply towards the major;

Degree Seeking Students: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0;
-
Signed NSU Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Program Guide;
-
Signed Disposition;
-
A personal background check via Complio||American Databank or a valid Nevada Department of Education substitute-teaching license;
-
Students must complete
SPA 201,
SPA 320,
SPA 330, and
SPA 340 before applying to the program.
The program application and submission deadlines are available on the Nevada State University, School of Education website. (Admission criteria is subject to change).
