BIOL 461 Global Health

The main aim of the course is to describe and analyze variation in health between the developing world and the industrialized countries. The course will include an incisive understanding and analysis of determinants of health. The course will provide an understanding of causes contributing towards the disparity in health care globally. Further, the course offers a public health perspective of the global burden of diseases and the types of treatments available to combat those challenges. Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 251A/L or BIOL 351A/L or BIOL 428.
