Initial Placement and Credit by Exam:
Spanish heritage learners are self-identified and will be placed into SPAN 226: Spanish for Heritage Speakers I. No placement exam is offered for the Spanish Heritage Minor. The department may approve and facilitate credit by exam. Students who receive credit by exam for a specific class will not need to take that course as they will be given credit.
