ECE 463 STEAM in Early Childhood Education
This course explores resources and materials available for the integration of STEAM for young children (ages 0-8). Students will review inquiry-based STEAM pedagogy, apply core STEAM concepts and activities, review research-based instructional strategies, and examine developmentally appropriate decision-making about when and how to integrate STEAM in early childhood education settings. This course requires 15 hours of Field Experience.
Pre-requisite(s): ECE 250, ECE 251, EDSP 471, Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program
