DATA 320 Introduction to Mathematical Modeling

Mathematical modeling is the application of mathematical language to describe processes or behaviors. In this course, we will learn how mathematical models are built, tested, and refined, and see how information derived from models can be used to guide decision-making processes. Both deterministic and stochastic models will be studied. Pre-requisite(s): CS 135, MATH 126, and MATH 127
