ECE 454 Methods: Math and Science
This course is designed to assist educators with developing the child's understanding and appreciation of mathematics. The course will cover effective methods, strategies, and techniques for teaching and assessing mathematics in varied academic settings. Teacher candidates will integrate culturally-responsive practices for math for students of diverse backgrounds. Recent trends in mathematics education will be discussed. Eight hours of field experience included. Pre-requisite(s): ECE 250, Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program
