(Same as FIS 495.) Comparative study of the relations of prose, poetry, and drama to the structure and themes of the cinema, from Dickens to the present. Satisfies Humanities Core Curriculum. Pre-requisite(s): ENG 102 and at least one 200-level English course (excluding ENG 201, ENG 204, ENG 205, ENG 211, ENG 212, and ENG 230). Recommended pre-requisite(s): ENG 298 and ENG 303.
