ENG 476B History of the American Film

Examination of the films of major directors from the silent period to the present. Filmmakers such as John Ford, Howard Hawks, Orson Welles, George Cukor, Robert Flaherty, Frank Capra, Raoul Walsh, and others. Satisfies Humanities Core Curriculum. Pre-requisite(s): ENG 102.
