EDRL 483 Curriculum Development and Methodology in Literacy for Bilingual Education

This course focuses upon methods and curriculum development for primary language instruction emphasizing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Throughout the course the student will develop curriculum that leverages bilingualism and takes into consideration the needs of language learners. This course is taught in Spanish. Pre-requisite(s): Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program. SPAN 227 or placement equivalent, EDRL 471, and EDU 260. (Program admission not required for Bilingual certification minors and ARL teachers).
