Academic Support
The mission of the Academic Success Center (ASC) is to provide academic guidance through peer-to-peer support, enhanced learning skills, and an atmosphere conducive to the learning process. The ASC provides free services such as individual or group tutoring, workshops, Supplemental Instruction, and study/test taking strategies. The ASC offers support in a variety of subject areas including American Sign Language, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Math, Nursing, Psychology, and Technology. Students seeking assistance may meet with tutors through one-one appointments, group study sessions, or drop-in tutoring sessions. The ASC also offers free online tutoring 24/7 through www.Smarthinking.com. To schedule an appointment, students may contact the Academic Success Center at (702) 992-2990, asc@nsc.edu, or stop by our office located inside the Library of the Rogers Student Center.
