BIOL 460 Microbial Physiology

Exploration of the major aspects of microbial physiology, including structure and growth of bacteria, generation of ATP and intermediary metabolism, synthesis of macromolecules and cellular components, and coordination of intracellular, activities. Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week.

Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 190A, BIOL 190L, BIOL191A, BIOL 191L, BIOL 300A, BIOL 300L, BIOL 351A, BIOL 351L, CHEM 121A, CHEM 121L, CHEM 122A, CHEM 122L, CHEM 241, CHEM 241L and MATH 126.
