The Nevada State Writing Center also offers a wide range of services to instructors, student organizations, and the campus community:
- In-class workshop: Instructors often choose to model elements of the writing process by inviting writing specialists to lead in-class workshops.
- Faculty and Staff Writing Groups: Each semester, full-time faculty, part-time faculty, administrative staff members, and administrative leaders come together to share writing goals and to work in shared spaces.
- The Long Night Against Procrastination (LNAP): At this campus-wide event, students and faculty can find community and finish the semester strong!
- Writing Center in the Classroom (WCC) Program: Writing Specialists and Fellows are embedded in introductory composition classes to support student learning.
- Writing Studies research and community: We support student researchers and welcome speakers who share cutting-edge research in writing across academic contexts.
