NURS 484 Nursing Immersion: Professional Practice & Praxis
The goal of this course is to build autonomy in transitioning to the professional graduate nursing role. The course provides an opportunity for students to review patient care across the lifespan in a format that prepares the student for taking NCLEX. Students develop an increasing responsibility for planning and delivering patient care to a group of patients in a variety of healthcare settings. Full Time - Pre-Requisite(s): Successful completion of all courses in the first four semesters of the nursing program; Co-Requisite(s): NURS 452, NURS 461. Part Time - Pre-Requisite(s): Successful completion of all other courses in the nursing program; Co-Requisite(s): None.
