NURS 351 Nursing Care of Childbearing Families
Using a reflective practice framework, students examine and practice the nursing role with diverse families in all phases of the childbearing process in acute care and community settings. Emphasis is on changes occurring in the biological, personal, and social realms. The health needs of childbearing families are studied from the perspectives of health promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention.
