HIST 276 Young Americans and Political Life

Explores the involvement of youth in U.S. political culture including participation in protest, electioneering, campaigns, voting, as well as political parties, factions, and youth organizations. Emphasis upon which youth are included and excluded in official political culture, as well as the ways those excluded from that formal politics made and make their voices heard.
