EDSP 473 Developmental Assessment in Early Childhood Special Education
This course is designed to examine and explore the assessment of young children, birth through age eight, with developmental delays and disabilities in all content areas and performance domains. Research-based approaches to designing, implementing, and interpreting the use of formal and informal assessments will be reviewed and applied. This course also includes strategies that can be used to authentically integrate assessment into both instruction and the IEP process. This course requires 15 hours of Field Experience.
Pre-requisite(s): ECE 250 and EDSP 471, Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program. (Pre-requisite(s) do not apply to Alternative Route to Licensure (ARL) and Alternative Route to Certification (ARC) majors.)
