EDRL 483 Curriculum Development and Methodology in Literacy for Bilingual Education

This course focuses upon methods and curriculum development for primary language instruction emphasizing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Throughout the course the student will develop curriculum that leverages bilingualism and takes into consideration the needs of language learners. This course is taught in Spanish. Pre-requisite(s): Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program; EDRL 471. (Program admission not required for Bilingual certification minors or Alternative Route to Licensure majors). Pre-Requite or Co-Requisite SPAN 304, SPAN 307, or placement equivalent.
