CHEM 421 Physical Chemistry I

Physical Chemistry I focuses on the fundamental understanding and the quantitative description of chemical and biochemical processes. The course covers thermodynamics (whether processes occur) and kinetics (how fast processes occur). Pre-requisite(s): CHEM 122 and MATH 181, Pre-requisite(s) OR Co-requisite(s): PHYS 151 OR PHYS 180: All pre-requisites must have a grade of C- or higher).
