VIS 312 Film Music and Scoring

Examines the role and function of music in cinematic works with an emphasis on scored music and theories of film music. Students will apply musical and theoretical principles in the production of basic scores for scenes or short films using composition software. Musical training helpful but not required. Course fee: $10.
