PSY 303 Foundations of Neuroscience
Anatomy and physiology of the nervous system as it relates to human behavior, thoughts, and emotions. Exploration of the molecular mechanisms of neural communication and how this forms the basis for cognition and physical responses. Survey of neurotransmitter, sensory, and motor systems along with basic psychopharmacology. (Formerly PSY 403)
Pre-requisite(s): Psychology Majors: PSY 101, PSY 240, and BIOL 101 or BIOL 189 or BIOL 190; Other Majors: PSY 101, Junior status, and BIOL 101 or BIOL 189, or BIOL 190.
