EDSP 475 Strategies for Teaching Young Children with Disabilities

This methods course is designed to promote inclusive educational practices for children with disabilities (birth-0) in order to meet the requirements of the various federal and state laws that children with disabilities be educated in natural settings or the least restrictive environment. Students will explore the background knowledge, preliminary skills and strategies needed for the successful inclusion of children with disabilities in early childhood education settings.

Pre-requisite(s): ECE 250 and EDSP 471, Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program. (Pre-requisite(s) do not apply to Alternative Route to Licensure (ARL) and Alternative Route to Certification (ARC) majors.)
