SPP744 Evidence-Based Interventions to Promote Mental Health

The purpose of this course is to a) understand evidence-based interventions and practices that promote mental health for use in the schools, across all tiers but primarily at Tier 2 within multi-tiered systems of support; b) gain skills in delivering these interventions within small groups or classrooms; c) apply the cultural ecological framework to the conceptualization of students¿ difficulties; and d) develop self-awareness of one¿s clinical skills delivering these strategies.
