NURS 244 The Art of Nursing
This course seeks the nursing students engagement using the creative process in developing empathy toward the other through the appreciation of art. Art is explored as a means of expression of human emotion and spirituality. This course connects the student to the aesthetic and healing arts using Jean Watson's theory of Human Caring. The intent is to deepen students self-exploration and self-discovery through a creative process. Pre-Requisite(s): Admission to the School of Nursing BSN program. Co-Requisite(s): Full Time: NURS 299, NURS 316, NURS 330, NURS 337; Part Time: NURS 299, NURS 330
