BIOL 460 Microbial Physiology

Exploration of the major aspects of microbial physiology, including structure and growth of bacteria, generation of ATP and intermediary metabolism, synthesis of macromolecules and cellular components, and coordination of intracellular, activities. Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week. Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 196, BIOL 197, BIOL 251 or BIOL 351, BIOL 300, CHEM 121, CHEM 122, CHEM 241 and MATH 126; $35 lab fee.
