Nevada State College (Nevada State) admits students to fulfill the mission for which the College was founded – namely, to provide access to the baccalaureate degree for Nevada’s citizens in accordance with the direction provided by the Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents (NSHE). To that end, Nevada State does not discriminate on the basis of a person’s age, disability, ethnicity, gender, national origin, race religion, or sexual orientation. All new students must furnish satisfactory evidence of good moral character as evidenced by a certificate of graduation or of honorable dismissal from the school last attended. All applicants for admission shall complete such tests and furnish such information as required by the regulations published in the institutional catalog governing the semester of initial enrollment.
