BIOL 416 Bioinformatics

This class covers basic principles in bioinformatics. Students will learn how biological information is obtained, stored, and analyzed with computational tools and software. Applications of bioinformatics in medicine, ecology and environmental science will be explored. Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 196, BIOL 197, BIOL 300, CHEM 121, CHEM 122, CHEM 241, and MATH 126.
