Children of Alumni Classification
Children of alumni of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the University of Nevada, Reno, Nevada State College, or Great Basin College who reside outside of Nevada are eligible for a differential tuition rate under certain conditions. Students enrolling under Children of Alumni classification will, in addition to registration fees, pay a tuition charge equaling an amount calculated by multiplying the registration fees times 60 percent. - The parent(s) must have earned a baccalaureate degree from either the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; University of Nevada, Reno; Nevada State College; or Great Basin College.
- The child must enroll in the same state college or university as his or her parent(s) to be eligible for the differential tuition rate.
- The differential tuition rate applies for undergraduate studies only.
No reclassification under this policy shall give rise to any claim for refund of tuition already paid to the Board of Regents. (B/R 3/04)
