NURS 388 Nutrition Across the Lifespan for Nursing Practice
This course focuses on the application of growth and development principles alongside the science of nutrition in promoting health and managing illness throughout the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on nursing interventions, including patient education and diet, as they relate to various medical conditions. The course also examines the influence of social, cultural, ethnic, religious, environmental, and economic factors on nutrition, highlighting their impact on health outcomes.
