BIOL 351A Microbiology Lecture
This microbiology course provides in-depth coverage of prokaryotic cell structure, function, genetics, diversity, ecology, and pathogenesis, with an emphasis on microbial metabolism, bacterial genetics and molecular mechanisms. Other microbes (such as protozoa, viruses and fungi) will also be discussed and applications of microbiology to medicine and environmental science will be explored. Credit is not allowed in both BIOL 251 and BIOL 351. Co-requisite: BIOL 351L; Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 190, BIOL 191, CHEM 121, and MATH 126
