STAT 152E Introduction to Statistics Expanded

Basic statistical methods with emphasis on application, descriptive statistics, graphical presentation, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, regression, and experimental design. Additionally, students enrolled in this course will cover intermediate algebra concepts such as sets, truth tables, algebraic expressions, inequalities, quadratic equations, measurement, and counting methods. Pre-requisite(s): MATH 95 or satisfactory score on the mathematics placement examination. Co-requisite(s): MATH 96S.
